The Hundred Eliminator: Southern Brave Women
FEATURESouthern Brave will compete in the Women's Competition Eliminator. Find out how they've got there.
After directly reaching the final of The Hundred in 2021, this time around Southern Brave will need to win the Eliminator for the showdown at Lord's.
Defeat by 20 runs in their final Group Stage match meant Brave were overtaken at the top of the standings by Oval Invincibles.
Smriti Mandhana and Danni Wyatt have smashed their way to 178 and 162 runs over the course of the five matches, Mandhana also scoring at a rate of 171 runs every 100 balls she faces.
And the Brave’s bowling hasn’t let them down either - Amanda-Jane Wellington topping the charts with 11 wickets so far, with teammate Lauren Bell in the second spot with nine.
Bell also holds the best bowling figures after her four wickets for 10 runs against Trent Rockets.
It will take a big performance from a side to stop the Brave from lifting the trophy on Saturday 3 September and erasing the memory of last year’s defeat at the hands of Oval Invincibles.
