The Hundred Eliminator: Trent Rockets Women
FEATURETrent Rockets will compete in the Women's Competition Eliminator. Find out how they've got there.
After sweating on the results of Birmingham Phoenix, Northern Superchargers and Manchester Originals - all of whom could have sealed third place - Trent Rockets breathed a sigh of relief on Wednesday as their Eliminator spot was confirmed.
Rockets won three matches, just as they did in 2021, but the spread of results, paired with the shorter Women's Competition, means a starkly different finish this year to last: they were 7th in 2021, and 3rd this time.
The highlight of the competition was, of course, Alana King's hat-trick - the first in the Women's Competition, and the second in The Hundred overall.
King tops the Rockets wickets chart alongside Bryony Smith, with both players on seven.
The two standout run-scorers have been Elyse Villani and Nat Sciver. Villani has led the way opening the batting and has 158 runs; Sciver is just two behind on 156.
Last year's runners-up Southern Brave are Rockets' opponents for a place in the Final.
