The Hundred Finalists: Oval Invincibles Women
FEATUREOval Invincibles will compete in the Women's Competition Final. Find out how they've got there.
The reigning champions have made it straight through to the Final, losing just once in the Group Stage - to Southern Brave, whom they beat for the title in 2021.
Two batters have stood out for Oval Invincibles, and it's the pair that open the batting. Lauren Winfield-Hill's move south from Northern Superchargers has paid dividends. She's hit 214 runs with a high score of 74 not out.
Winfield-Hill's opening partner, Suzie Bates, has seen runs flow too. She's the team's top-scorer with 229 runs, her highest score of 79 not out coming in the final group match, and the pair have built a strong base.
Alice Capsey's runs haven't flowed as they did in 2021 but she has chipped in with vital wickets. She's one of two bowlers to have claimed six wickets in this campaign. Eva Gray and 17-year-old Sophia Smale both have seven wickets.
Mady Villiers had the best day out with the ball, picking up four wickets for just 12 runs in the London derby at London Spirit.
Invincibles will await a Lord's showdown with the winner of the Eliminator - either a clash with Trent Rockets, or a repeat of last year's Final against Brave.
