Trent Rockets fell short in the Men's Competition Eliminator in 2021, but this year they've gone a step further - topping the group and heading straight through to the Final.

Six wins from their eight matches see them top the charts from London Spirit.

Their charge to the head of the standings is due in no small part to Dawid Malan, who has smashed an impressive 358 runs from just 208 balls.

In his eight appearances, the England international Malan has scored four 50s and smashed a competition-high 20 sixes.

Bowling-wise, Rockets have relied on Samit Patel and Luke Wood to do the damage, with Patel bagging himself 10 wickets and Wood nine, which included three wickets for just 17 runs conceded against Birmingham Phoenix.

Sam Cook has also been utilised well - the quick bowler has chipped in with seven wickets.
