Not a surprise as in 2015 he was involved in a serious car accident that forced him out of action for almost two years with a torn patella tendon, fractured tibia and fractured ankle before he was banned for 10 months for snubbing the West Indies domestic season to play in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2016-17.
