Inspired as a kid by England Women's Head Coach Charlotte Edwards, the all-rounder began playing cricket thanks to her dad, Steve. Dean enters her first year as official captain of the side, having recently captained England in white-ball series against India and New Zealand. Dean spins the ball more than most and is also useful with bat in hand.
