Every. Bake. Counts.
The Hundred launches a baking challenge to mark the start of the 2024 competition.
The Hundred is back for season four and the countdown is truly on to this summer’s blockbuster sporting entertainment event.
To coincide with the final countdown to the start of the competition, we’ve launched a baking challenge with 2023 Bake Off winner Matty Edgell. He’s used to showstoppers and receiving the prestigious ‘star baker’ accolade, and now Matty has shown off his version of what The Hundred would look like as a brilliant bake. Matty’s bake is highly decorative, with The Hundred signature green and pink colours, a DJ set, a nod to his favourite team Oval Invincibles and incredible firework candles. It’s also got a surprise centre so check out his video below!
We’re now asking YOU to get involved. All you have to do is bake what you think The Hundred would look like as a cake. Is it a vibrant colour that matches your favourite team? Does it nod to the world-class cricket with some epic decoration? Or are you all about the music and entertainment, adding that flavour and stardust to make it a truly blockbuster bake? Whatever you do, Every. Bake. Counts.
Share your bakes on social media using #EveryBakeCounts and tag @thehundred or your chosen Hundred team and they could be featured here over the coming weeks – keep an eye out.
Set your alarms, the countdown is on.
