Five players you should consider for your Fantasy team
FEATUREThese players won't come cheap in Fantasy, but they are among the best performers in this year's competition, and are sure to deliver for your team.
Marizanne Kapp (8.0)
Kapp's priority will be ensuring Oval Invincibles women secure The Hundred title for a third consecutive year, but that doesn't mean she can't rack up Fantasy points along the way. She has 356 so far, making her the highest-scoring all-rounder in the game - only Georgia Adams has more Fantasy points than her.
Shabnim Ismail (7.5)
Welsh Fire have enjoyed an upturn in 2023 and Ismail is one of their new faces who have impressed, with her total of nine wickets being the second-highest among women. That has also translated to success in Fantasy, where she is the highest-scoring bowler with 338 points.
Reece Topley (6.5)
Topley's tally of 277 points puts him one point behind Nathan Sowter, who is the highest-scoring bowler among men in Fantasy. In addition, his return of 10 wickets taken so far is the highest total of any man at The Hundred 2023.
Smriti Mandhana (8.0)
Only three batters have more Fantasy points than Mandhana's 275: Brave teammates Georgia Adams and Maia Bouchier, as well as Tammy Beaumont. She's third on the run-scorers list, two behind Phoebe Litchfield and 28 behind Beaumont, and now has over 500 runs in The Hundred since it started.
Sam Billings (7.0)
The keeper position in Fantasy is being dominated by Oval Invincibles, with all four top-scoring players in that position coming from the team across competitions. Jordan Cox and Heinrich Klaasen are the leading pair, but the former is out injured and the latter is departing The Hundred on 19 August, so it could be worth looking at Sam Billings who already has 156 points.
