The bowler capped off a great evening of action in style for the home side

Then a partnership of Moeen Ali and Will Smeed put the Phoenix well on top. Ali hit a very swift 50 putting his side in the driving seat.

Jimmy Neesham managed to take the wicket of captain Ali but the destructive Liam Livingstone was just as big of a threat, scoring 31 quick runs off 19 balls before he walked.

The Phoenix lost some late wickets but Smeed continued to impress, closing out with two sixes to get 65 runs not out. The home side set 184 runs from the innings, a huge total for the Fire to chase.

However, the game started to slip away from the Fire as both were quickly dismissed and the middle order were soon to follow.
