Five new international women's players announced
NEWSAnnouncing the latest five women's international players to join The Hundred, including a trio of ICC Women's T20 World Cup winners.
An additional five players have been confirmed to join The Hundred women's competition 😍
Three of Australia's ICC Women's T20 World Cup winners now have teams. Nicola Carey, Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney will all feature this summer. They're joined by South African all-rounders Marizanne Kapp and Chloe Tryon.
Birmingham Phoenix

Ashleigh Gardner joins Sophie Devine at Birmingham Phoenix.
London Spirit
- Chloe Tryon

South African Chloe Tryon will add plenty of batting power to the London Spirit lineup.

An Australian double act is in prospect in the north with Nicola Carey alongside Alyssa Healy.

Beth Mooney joins Australian teammates Meg Lanning and Jess Jonassen. They'll be led by their national team coach, Matthew Mott.
Beth Barrett-Wild, Head of The Hundred women’s competition, said: “It’s fantastic to see five more international stars signing up to play in The Hundred this summer. The competition is really building momentum, and it’s very exciting to see the growing list of world class talent involved across the eight teams.
“We’ve now confirmed the names of 18 overseas players who will compete in the women’s competition, including the likes of Meg Lanning, Suzie Bates, Stafanie Taylor and Lizelle Lee; with six still to go, the standard of cricket is set to be very high."

Australia's Women's T20 World Cup 2020 winning captain Meg Lanning is among the overseas stars already confirmed for The Hundred.
Beth Mooney said, “I’m really excited to take part in the first season of The Hundred. It looks like it is developing into a high quality, world class competition.
“As Head Coach, Matthew Mott is building a really strong side at Welsh Fire and I can’t wait to get out there with my new teammates.”
