THE HUNDRED 2025 OPENING FIXTURE PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRIZE DRAW OVERVIEW
1. England and Wales Cricket Board Limited (company number 03251364) whose registered office is at Lords Cricket Ground, St Johns Wood, London, NW8 8QZ (“ECB”) is operating a prize draw for followers of ‘thehundred’ Instagram account to have the opportunity to win tickets to the opening fixture of The Hundred 2025 at one of the eight venues (the “Prize Draw”).
2. Prize Draw entrants (“Entrants”) are automatically deemed to have accepted, and agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions (the “Prize Draw Terms and Conditions”) upon entry into the Prize Draw.
ENTRY PROCESS
3. The Prize Draw will be open for entry between 11am (UK time) on Tuesday 29 July 2025 and 11am (UK time) on Wednesday 30 July 2025 (the “Closing Date”). Any entry completed or received after the Closing Date and/or other than in accordance with the entry requirements set out below will not be included in the Prize Draw.
4. To enter the Prize Draw, Entrants must post a photo on their personal Instagram feed (not stories or reels) showing how they are ready for The Hundred 2025. The photo must either:
• Show the Entrant wearing an official item of The Hundred team merchandise (such as a team shirt or a team hat); or
• Feature a homemade sign that shows they are ready for The Hundred.
In addition, the post must also:
• Tag the official Instagram handle of the home team they want tickets for (see list of official team Instagram handles below); and
• Include the hashtag #ReadyForTheHundred.
Entrants must tag one of the following official team Instagram handles in their post:
• @WelshFire
• @SouthernBrave
• @NorthernSuperchargers
• @ManchesterOriginals
• @TrentRockets
• @LondonSpirit
• @OvalInvincibles
• @BirminghamPhoenix
Entries will not be accepted by any other means.
5. The Prize Draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
ELIGIBILITY
6. The Prize Draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over other than employees of the ECB who are directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw.
7. Each Entrant may only enter the Prize Draw once. Multiple entries by the same Entrant may, in the ECB’s sole discretion, result in disqualification of that Entrant from the Prize Draw or limitation of such entries to a single entry only.
8. In entering the Prize Draw, each Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize that they may win. The ECB may require an Entrant to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Prize Draw (including proof of age or residence).
9. The ECB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the Entrant has breached these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions.
PRIZE
10. There will be eight (8) winners of the Prize Draw (the “Winners” and each a “Winner” or “Winning Entrant”), each selected by computer-generated random draw on, or soon after, the Closing Date. The Prize Draw prizes for each Winning Entrant is four (4) ground admission tickets to the opening fixture of The Hundred 2025 at the venue of the Hundred team they tagged in their post (each a “Prize”).
11. The Winners will be contacted (as soon as reasonably practicable after the completion of the Prize Draw) via Instagram. Only the Winner(s) will be notified.
12. Each Winner must confirm that they are able to accept the prize within four (4) hours of being notified by the ECB that they are a Winner. In the event that any Winner fails to confirm their acceptance of the Prize by the deadline, or is unable to accept the Prize that they have won for any reason or the ECB determines that a Winner has breached these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions, the ECB reserves the right to offer the prize to another Entrant. The ECB does not accept any responsibility for failure by any Winners to claim their Prize.
13. Each Winner’s Prize will be sent to the Winner via The Hundred App prior the start of the relevant fixture (with Winners receiving a code and instructions on how to access their tickets).
14. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Prizes do not include anything not expressly set out in these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions including spending money, food and drink, associated travel and accommodation, medical or other general expenses.
15. The Prize(s) are subject to availability and the ECB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any Prize for an alternative prize if necessary.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
16. Neither the ECB nor any of its partners, affiliates, agents, employees, officers, directors or representatives will be liable (to the fullest extent permitted by law) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the organising or holding of the Prize Draw or as a result of any Entrant’s participation in the Prize Draw or as a result of winning, collecting, use or enjoyment of any prize, if the Prize Draw does not run as planned or if any part of any Prize is unable to be delivered for any reason. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
17. If the Prize Draw or any part of it is not capable of running or being completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to reasons of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of ECB, ECB reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw without liability.
18. The ECB accepts no responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are not successfully completed or submitted, regardless of cause, including (without limitation) due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure, of any kind.
ENTRANTS’ PERSONAL DATA
19. Any personal data relating to any individual which is received by the ECB in relation to the Prize Draw will be used in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, the ECB’s Privacy Notice which can be found at: http://www.thehundred.com/privacy/, and the ECB’s privacy policy which can be found at: https://www.ecb.co.uk/privacy.
20. The ECB may be required to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the ECB will send the surname and county of Winners to anyone who emails support@thehundred.com or sends a letter addressed to the ECB using the address given above, (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date. If an Entrant objects to any or all of his/her surname and county being published or made available, please contact the ECB using the email address or postal address referred to in this clause. In such circumstances, the ECB must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
21. If an Entrant has any questions about these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions, including any request to exercise their legal rights under data protection law, they should contact the ECB at privacy@ecb.co.uk.
GENERAL
22. The ECB reserves the right to refuse entry to the Prize Draw, to disqualify from the Prize Draw or to refuse to award the Prize(s) to anyone who it reasonably considers has breached these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions or to anyone who, in the ECB’s sole opinion, has otherwise acted improperly or dishonestly.
23. The decision of the ECB regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding (including as to the award of the Prize(s)) and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any such decision.
24. If any provision of these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
25. These Prize Draw Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim (including any non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and all Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes or claims arising out of, or in connection with, these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions or the Prize Draw.
